Spay/Neuter Surgeon

Here, you can make a lasting, positive impact in our community by helping rescue/shelter pets, community cats, and pets of families living in poverty in our community!

We seek an experienced surgeon to perform cat and dog spay/neuter surgeries on Monday - Thursday. You would work with an awesome, caring, passionate, and fun team committed to reducing pet homelessness in Greater Cincinnati.

You never have to talk to clients about costs; we believe every person deserves to have a pet and we do not turn anyone away for inability to pay, we help anyone who needs it with grants and donations.

The schedule is 7:15 a.m. until surgery is completed, typically by 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. NO EVENING OR WEEKEND WORK!

Registered Veterinary Technician

We seek a Registered Veterinary Technician licensed in OH who wants to make a positive impact in our community by helping us stop the euthanasia of cats and dogs in shelters and keep pets with the families who love them. We focus our services on rescues/shelters, community cats, and families living in poverty in our community.

The job involves assisting veterinarians with dog and cat spay/neuter surgeries on Monday - Thursday and a vaccine clinic on Fridays. A good work-personal life balance is important to us, so you are generally out by 4 pm (2:30 on Fridays), with no evening work.

NO LATE NIGHTS, WORKING WEEKENDS, OR TALKING TO CLIENTS ABOUT MONEY! As a nonprofit, we never turn anyone away for inability to pay and have donations and grant funding to provide financial assistance to clients.

Requirements include a current Ohio RVT license and experience in a veterinary clinic/shelter setting, the ability to stay calm, positive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, great attention to detail, proficient restraint of dogs and cats, ability to handle a physically demanding job, and ability to give vaccines, microchips and help prepare animals for surgery.
