MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Online Appointment Form
Click the link below to make a surgery appointment on a Monday - Thursday or a vaccine clinic appointment on a Friday.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail if your appointment request is approved, so please check your spam folder if you do not receive one. Please do not come the day you picked for surgery unless you received a confirmation e-mail approving the date you selected.
If your pet has a current rabies vaccine that was not given at UCAN, please bring proof (such as a rabies certificate or vet record) at the time of your appointment. An undated rabies tag on the collar or a passport completed by you is not sufficient legal proof. If you do not have proof, because it is required by law, your pet will receive a one-year rabies vaccine at the time of surgery or vaccine clinic appointment for an additional cost of $10.
If your pet has had a seizure, we cannot perform the spay/neuter surgery and you will have to have it done at a full-service veterinarian clinic with the resources and medications to treat seizures.
Our Greater Cincinnati service area is comprised of 15 counties in Southwest OH, Northern KY and Southeast IN (Boone, Bracken, Brown, Butler, Campbell, Clermont, Dearborn, Franklin, Gallatin, Grant, Hamilton, Kenton, Ohio, Pendleton, Warren) which contains a population of nearly 2.3 million, is the largest metro area in the State of Ohio. Given that the current surgery demand exceeds the number of appointments available, to enable the county shelters in Greater Cincinnati to maintain their no-kill status, we must give priority to pet owners in those 15 counties for surgery appointments. Our hope is once the demand in those counties is met, we can open surgery appointments to pets in other counties.
We only book 4 months in advance, so there may not be any available appointments. If not, please check back on this page later (appointments pop up as people cancel or new appointments become available). Please do not call for an appointment unless your dog is pregnant or has a pyometra infection which requires emergency surgery.
