WELLNESS APPOINTMENTS

We believe the love, companionship and health benefits of having a pet is something everyone deserves to experience. We also believe every pet deserves a vet to help it live a healthy, pain-free life. Our wellness business is designed to prevent the surrender of the beloved pet to a shelter because of costly medical conditions that can be easily prevented or treated.

We provide affordable, non-emergency, basic veterinary care for pet owners who can’t afford those services elsewhere. For just $40, a pet gets a thorough examination by our veterinarian, core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo for dogs and FVRCP for cats), and a general dewormer. There is an additional cost for other vaccinations, medications and services. For the 2 puppy and kitten booster visits following your initial wellness visit, the fee is $20 per visit. If your pet is not yet spayed or neutered, we will schedule your pet for surgery for a reduced fee.

To be eligible, your family’s total household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines or you must have other extraordinary circumstances warranting financial assistance.

Please bring with you to your pet’s wellness appointment:

  • Your current state or federally issued photo ID.
  • Proof of household income within the guidelines below or proof of extraordinary circumstances warranting financial assistance.

    Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and debit/credit card. Debit/credit cards are subject to a $1 processing fee.

    We do not treat behavioral issues, chronic conditions (diabetes, anxiety, thyroid disorders, heart disease, cancer), injuries, or parvovirus. We do not provide major trauma or emergency care.
